Community Pharmacy was started in 2007 when two forward thinking pharmacists found a need in their community for a long-term-care pharmacy dedicated to doing what was right, taking care of both the residents and the facility. We feel our customers are entitled to having the best pharmacy service possible and we will do whatever it takes to ensure these high standards.
Each customer gets a dedicated team of people to meet and exceed their needs. We devote a specific consultant pharmacist, a nurse consultant, and a customer service manager from our billing department to provide personalized service to your facility. If your facility utilizes our eMAR, we will also provide you with an eMAR specialist.
We have developed an internal workflow focused on minimizing interruptions for our order processing staff, thus decreasing the chances for errors. Our pharmacy workflow is composed of 6 different departments working together to provide the highest patient safety and customer service in our industry.
Our billing and accounting department ensure accurate, complete, and easy to understand statements. They help find ways to save our customers money. Each customer has a designated customer service representative to handle all of his or her billing needs.
Our medical records department maintains accurate MARs and TARs, including both eMar and traditional paper MARs. They are also responsible for obtaining new prescriptions to help avoid any discontinuation in therapy.
